The chinampas of Xochimilco have been farmed since before the Conquest, in rectangular plots raised over the water. The map of the place is a grid of soft angles, drawn by the canals.
The sunglass frame takes that figure: a hexagonal front with rounded edges in acetate, with lenses that filter 100% of UV radiation. Angular in silhouette, without a single hard edge.
