The xoloitzcuintle has been with Mexico for more than three thousand years. The Mexica gave it the task of guiding souls on the passage to Mictlán: an animal with bare skin, no ornament, whose presence was enough.
The frame follows that economy: circular rims in durable metal, with acetate only on the rims and the temple tips. Two materials, each one where it is needed.
Designed in Mexico and handmade in Japan by artisans devoted to making frames of excellent quality. Also available as sunglasses.
