The dome we now call the Monumento a la Revolución was raised for a Legislative Palace that was never finished. It stood for years as a structure without a purpose, until it was given another one. Few buildings change meaning without changing shape.
The sunglass frame holds that ambiguous geometry: a rectangular front with softly hexagonal edges, in thick acetate with flat temples and UV100 lenses. Triple-barrel hinges.
