Colonia Doctores was founded on the Potreros de Indianilla and was called Belén until science renamed it: when the Hospital General opened in 1905, the streets took on the surnames of the country's most notable physicians. The map became a directory of learned men.
The frame has that same solidity: an oversize square silhouette in Mazzucchelli acetate, large size, with hinges reinforced by double rivets at the end pieces and temples. Built for daily use, not for the display case.
