Cine Apolo opened in 1948 on Santa María la Redonda with room for 3,650 people. It was one of the largest theaters of its time and burned down twenty years later. Today it survives only in the memory of the Guerrero neighborhood.
The frame recovers that scale. A 53 mm rectangular front in acetate, straight lines and a wide presence that never turns heavy: eyewear that takes up space as naturally as the theater once did.
